City of Glasgow College has launched the UK’s first open innovation competition (IPHatch®) that connects entrepreneurs and emerging start-ups with access to impactful sustainable technologies from multinational corporations.
At the 2022 European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) Awards in Lyon, City of Glasgow College has been awarded a 7-Diamond world ranking. The Diamond ranking is the highest level of recognition and the college has been ranked an impressive third in the world in EFQM’s overall global benchmarking.
Dale Colley, a power engineering undergraduate at Glasgow Caledonian University and founder of Altitude Thinking, has developed Aquabot, a remote-controlled drone that can be used on the surface of rivers, lochs, and canals to provide a more accurate, real-time picture of conditions in the water.
