Organised by the University of Glasgow and The Knowledge Transfer Network, the Partnerships that drive Innovation event will explore design process theory, practical application of design theory and how to embed this within a partnership.

Companies and academics will hear from thought leaders on design process, innovation funders and case studies of companies who have benefited from adopting design process into their innovation.

Attendees will be given clear next steps in how they can adopt design process into their innovation/R&D plans and grant applications.

This workshop is aimed at companies across all technology sectors who want to innovate more productively and who want to build partnerships that yield more. The workshop will also appeal to academics who want to build partnerships with industry that will effectively translate their inventions to the market. This workshop will have broad applicability but will be orientated towards Innovate UK funding.

EVENT SUMMARY: This event is for innovators and people who want to be innovators from every, and any, sector. All technologies, academic, industry: The challenges are the same. How can we best capture innovation and turn it into a marketable reality? How can we form partnerships that a broad enough to deliver innovative products and services to market? How can we position our plans to make them fundable by agencies like Innovate UK?
