The theme of the event is ‘The future of work’, with content covering innovation, agile approaches, cross-sector collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and internal cultures.

Gib Bulloch, author of The Intrapraneur, will be one of the keynote speakers at the event.

Bulloch spent over 25 years in the corporate world, working for companies including BP, Mars and Accenture, where he founded a corporate social enterprise that provided development sector organisations access to top people, knowledge and assets on a not-for-profit basis, and which delivered a quarter of a billion dollars worth of services across 70 countries in its first decade.

Gib Bulloch said: “I’m a great believer in the power of business to change the world, but also in the power of individuals to change the business world.

“I’m looking forward to speaking at Future Business Forum where I’ll share more on my journey as a social intrapreneur and why I believe now is the time to change the system, bottom up and inside out.”

Bruce Walker, FutureX co-founder, said: “We’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most innovative corporate businesses and have experienced first hand that the success of London or Silicon Valley comes from the corporate and startup business communities collaborating to accelerate innovation and adapt to the changing landscape of business.

“We are excited to launch the first Future Business Forum to help plug the gap between corporate transformation and startup innovation.”

Future Business Forum will take place at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh on September 17, 2019.
