Scottish Women in Business (SWIB), the premier business networking club for women in Scotland, is excited to announce the return of its annual awards. The event will be held on Friday, 6 September 2024, at The Savings Bank, 67 Bridge St, Glasgow.

The SWIB Awards celebrate the success of Scottish women in business and the individuals and organisations that empower and inspire women to pursue their career aspirations.

The event is also an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for SWIB’s charity partner, Baby Loss Retreat, which supports families across Scotland who have suffered the loss of a baby due to miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or IVF.

Nominations are open and there are four categories:

  • Woman of Influence
  • Catalyst of Change
  • Woman to Watch
  • Champion of Women

Sarah Heaney, President of Scottish Women in Business, said:

“The SWIB Awards 2024 are an opportunity to celebrate the successes of women in business in Scotland and the people and organisations who support them.

“Success is a team sport and this year we want to recognise the individuals, organisations, and teams who empower and inspire women to success.

“I am constantly inspired by our members and their dedication to creating positive change in their businesses and communities, and I encourage them to celebrate their successes by nominating themselves or those who have contributed to their journey”.

Julie Morrison, one of the founders of Baby Loss Retreat, added:

“We are pleased that Scottish Women in Business are supporting our charity.

“The loss of a baby can be an overwhelming time and the money that SWIB helps raise will be used to provide a range of free services and support to families experiencing the pain of baby loss.”
