Our award-winning event series, Art of Possible returns this month and this time we will journey through the Metaverse! 

Join us as we bring together the tech and innovation community for the chance to network over beers, wine and nibbles – and hear from inspirational leaders from a range of sectors embracing tech to innovate with impact.

In this edition, leading experts will discuss the potential future impacts of the metaverse (good and bad!) across a range of industries from EdTech to entertainment.

Meet our expert panel:

David Sime, CTO and Co-Director of Riiot Digital (Chair)

David directs AR/VR activities for Riiot Digital, with over 23 years’ experience in digital media in energy, manufacture, education and medicine. David works with Google, Scottish Enterprise and the CIM to apply emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, VR and AR to meet new and existing and organisational challenges.


Lynne McInnes, Head of Marketing and Communications at Glasgow Clyde College

Working in the education sector for just over four years, Lynne recently rolled out the UK’s first college open day in the Metaverse, recreating the Glasgow Clyde College campus digitally.


Claire McGarry, Studio Director at Soluis

With over 16 years’ experience as a professional 3D artist, Claire currently oversees CG and Real Time provision projects with capital expenditure in the hundreds of millions. She was included within the 2018 #BIMA100 list, an institute that celebrates changemakers and pioneers who are shaping the British Digital Industry.


Graeme Stevens, Co-Founder and Director of New Frontier

Graeme has been involved in Blockchain through Bitcoin since 2016, starting New Frontier which develops gamified solutions in Tourism. He was commissioned to create “The Metaverse Playbook” – an interactive toolkit usable for any industry to show companies how to get involved and put educating users at the heart of a Metaverse strategy.


Theo Tzanidis, Senior Lecturer at UWS’s School of Business and Creative Industries

A member of the Digital Marketing Institute’s Industry Advisory Board, a global standards council comprised of Google & Facebook, Theo has been researching commercial opportunities within the metaverse. He co-created an education method that was nominated for the 2018 Guardian, Herald, and Pioneer Awards for the creative use of VR/AR/Digital tech.
