Images of Research is an annual competition for research students and staff which showcases Strathclyde’s innovative work through compelling images. This year’s theme “Picturing the Future” aligns to Glasgow’s Green Year and has entries in four categories – Energy, Innovation, Public & Urban Health and Sustainability, representing sectors in which research takes place on a local, national and international scale.

Be the first to hear who’s won this year’s competition – Picturing the Future. Celebrate with us at a free craft beer (and soft drink!) reception on Thursday 4th June at Drygate Brewery (Book here to secure your free drinks token).

Bailie Liz Cameron will be announcing the winner at 6.00pm so take your places from 5.30pm and you can still influence the final decision – Vote Now for your favourite!

  • Public and Urban Health category winner, Kirsty Ross’ “Protecting the Next Generation”;
  • Sustainability category winner, Scott Porter’s “Building Architecture Beyond Earth”; and
