As part of a joint mission to prepare and equip Glasgow’s ambitious innovation driven enterprises to scale up, Glasgow City Council and the University of Strathclyde Business School have piloted a special Growth Advantage Programme for a select group of Tontine clients and former clients – i-GAP @ Tontine. Following success of the pilot, the partners have launched the new High Growth and Innovation Accelerator as part of the new Glasgow Business Growth Programme.
The fully funded programme is designed to deliver relevant, accessible and practical learning for the leaders of ambitious businesses in Glasgow looking to scale up. This programme is aimed at Innovative businesses which have achieved customer traction and with real growth ambitions.
Designed to deliver relevant, accessible and practical learning, the Growth Advantage Programme series at Strathclyde Business School combines world class executive education with the power of peer learning. The High Growth & Innovation Accelerator is based on the learning from the Growth Advantage Programme which is delivered by Scotland’s top entrepreneurship faculty from the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Small Business Charter Gold accredited Strathclyde Business School and is directed by peer learning expert John Anderson, former Chief Executive of The Entrepreneurial Exchange. It is unique in Scotland and remains the only Scottish growth programme to be endorsed by the ScaleUp Institute.
The programme is action oriented and at the end of each workshop participants will prepare an action plan to be executed before the subsequent workshop where progress is reviewed and experiences shared.
