The University of Strathclyde is in the running for the UK University of the Year Award for a second time, having previously won the title in 2012.
Strathclyde is also in contention in three other categories: Outstanding Contribution to Leadership Development; Widening Participation or Outreach Initiative; and Outstanding Library Team.
Professor Gordon Morison of Glasgow Caledonian University’s School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment has been nominated for the Outstanding Research Supervisor of the Year Award. GCU has also been shortlisted for the THE DataPoints Merit and Outstanding Support for Students Awards.
The University of Glasgow has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Estates Strategy Award.
The 2019 winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on November 28.
