European consultancy Valcon has announced a major expansion of its UK footprint, including the opening of a new office in Glasgow alongside Manchester and Birmingham.

The move reflects growing demand from organisations across the UK to harness data, AI and technology to drive productivity, innovation and long-term growth. By strengthening its regional presence, Valcon aims to support clients outside London while accessing a broader and more diverse talent pool.

The expansion will underpin ambitious growth plans, with Valcon aiming to scale its UK workforce from 250 to more than 1,000 employees, as part of a wider European strategy to grow to 5,000 consultants over the next five years.

Laura Casci, Managing Partner of Valcon UK, said demand for AI and data-driven transformation is accelerating across regional hubs, not just in the capital, making a stronger local presence essential to supporting clients’ ambitions.

Linzi Barr, Chief Operating Officer for Valcon UK, added that the new offices will act as regional collaboration hubs, enabling closer client relationships while bringing together multidisciplinary teams across tech, data, AI and consulting.

The UK expansion forms part of Valcon’s broader European growth strategy, following its 2025 acquisition of Swedish AI consultancy Bricobomba, and further reinforces Glasgow’s position as a growing hub for data, AI and digital transformation.
