POTR Pots can be posted as a letter and have almost 100 times less CO2 footprint than clay or concrete plant pots, as they are capable of fitting in a standard envelope when being delivered, whereas a traditional pot requires a much larger parcel, requiring delivery by van.

By using recycled plastic, the CO2 impact is much less compared with producing new materials like concrete or clay. It also prevents plastics ending up in landfill sites.

POTR Pots is currently on Kickstarter and the project has already raised more than £11,200, following an initial target of £600.
