New College Lanarkshire took the top spot with 12 medals overall: four Golds, four Silvers, four Bronze, and three Highly Commended awards.

City of Glasgow College received a total of 12 medals: five Golds, two Silver, and five Bronze with two Highly Commended awards, making it an outstanding result once again for Scottish Education.

Paul Little, City of Glasgow College principal and chief executive, said: “This is a fantastic result for our college and our students should be very proud indeed. I am delighted that all their tremendous hard work and that of their lecturers and coaches has paid off, such a significant number of medals is to their credit.

“Our top priority at City of Glasgow College is to equip each and every one of our students with the skills they will need to enter the world of work. These skills competitions play a vital role in raising industry standards and to be in the top two shows just how well our College is doing in preparing our students to be the best in their chosen career.”
