Professor Natascha Radclyffe-Thomas has been elected Chair of the UN’s PRME Chapter UK and Ireland.

Found in 2007, the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative aims to transform business and management education worldwide and create a new generation of responsible leaders.

More than 800 management-related higher education institutions are now signatories.

Professor Radcylffe-Thomas, who is based at GCU London, succeeds out-going Chair Dr Jonathan Louw, of Oxford Brookes Business School.

She said: “My own involvement with the UK and Ireland PRME Chapter was initiated by my desire to make a difference in higher education and foster more responsible business practices in my own discipline of marketing.

“I very much look forward to working with the new Steering Committee to expand our profile and the impact of the work of the Chapter, our members and their institutions.”
