The annual festival will run from 8 – 18 June at 29 venues across the city and celebrates the many ways in which ‘Glasgow Explores’. There’s something to suit all ages and nurture your natural curiosity. Join lively debates on the big issues of our time like climate change, digital technology in healthcare or food security. Stretch your mind and muscles on the science behind yoga and meditation or discover what’s next for gravitational-wave astronomy. There are walking tours where you’ll discover the city’s rich heritage in engineering and the sciences. And there’s the chance to have a good giggle whilst researchers share what they’ve been up to on your doorstep at stand-up comedy nights.
The majority of the 60+ events are free, though advance booking may be required. Check out the full programme and book at www.glasgowsciencefestival.org.uk
