The Newton Flight Academy is home to Scotland’s only full motion flight simulators and offers a realistic wrap-around 180-degree view of landscapes generated from real map data. Delegates can expect to take off and pilot the controls of a light aircraft under the guidance of flight crew while learning about the science of flight.

The UK’s first Newton Flight Academy at Glasgow Science Centre is a permanent facility used to teach school students aviation related STEM concepts that will shape the future of more sustainable aircraft and aviation. Interest and enquiries from event bookers have led Glasgow Science Centre to develop a Newton Flight Academy corporate offer that will be available outside of academic hours. Public feedback on the immersive experience has been overwhelmingly positive, with over 80% of visitors rating it 10/10.

Hannah Wright, Sales Manager at Glasgow Science Centre said, “We are extremely excited to offer our delegates an incredible new event experience. The Newton Flight Academy is the perfect space for teambuilding, client entertainment and team days out. Don’t worry if you haven’t had any experience in a simulator before or completely new to piloting, our dedicated flight team will be with you every step of the way. We look forward to flying with you soon!”

The corporate delegate package includes exclusive hire of the Newton Flight Academy, full instructions, and background to the science of flight, refreshments and a 30-minute flight simulator experience. The flight experience will take off and land at Glasgow Airport and delegates will have the opportunity to fly over Glasgow and a city of their choice.
