The University of Glasgow was placed 3rd, and celebrating 50 years since it was awarded its Royal Charter, University of Strathclyde was 4th. Glasgow Caledonian University took the number 10 slot from the 15 universities to be found in Scotland.
The University of St Andrews was ranked 1st in Scotland in the annually published guide that measures student satisfaction, research quality, graduate prospects, entrance qualifications, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, service and facility spend, and completion rates.
