DemoFest is the annual showcase for Computing Science and Informatics research, organised and delivered by SICSA in partnership with ScotlandIS. The event runs from 4pm to 7.30pm on November 4 at Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh.
It is a great opportunity to talk with colleagues across the 14 SICSA schools/departments, see current research across SICSA; and meet representatives from business, Government and the public sector.
This year’s event will feature:

- Introductions: Jane Morrison-Ross, ScotlandIS
- Keynote talk from Dr Zoë Webster, Director of AI and Data Economy at Innovate UK – ‘Opportunities for Innovation in AI and the Data Economy’
- Research & Technology Showcase from 14 Scottish universities covering key areas of research; an opportunity to collaborate and network in an informal environment with light refreshments.
