The Just Transition of Biotechnology
How sustainable development in industrial biotechnology can secure Scotland’s path to Net Zero
IBioIC’s Annual Conference is the largest industrial biotechnology conference in the UK and attracts an ever-growing cohort of key figures across policy, industry, and research and academia.
They are back, live and in-person at the Technology and Innovation Centre, Glasgow, on June 2022 with two days of talks, presentations and interactive sessions, networking opportunities galore, exhibition, and conference dinner.
Over the course of our two day conference, they are inviting speakers from a range of industries, sectors and areas of expertise to explore the central theme of the conference – how sustainable development in industrial biotechnology can secure Scotland’s path to Net Zero. Attendees will be exploring the transition to Net Zero in the chemicals industry, novel uses for food and agri waste, smart farming, and how we can develop a talent pool that can withstand future challenges. Policy makers from Scotland, the UK, and further afield will join in for keynote talks.
Early Bird registration is open until 20 April 2022. There are multiple opportunities to get involved as an Exhibitor or Sponsor, and we will shortly be launching a call for Fringe Events to complement the main conference programme – a fantastic opportunity to host your own event and be included in IBioIC’s conference promotional activities.
