VentureJam will be a hugely fun and innovative two day workshop, organised by Young Scot and Glasgow City of Science, where young people who live, work or study in the city are set to charge-up the creativity and develop ideas with a team of inspirational mentors made up of creatives, technologists and environmental experts.

VentureJam is an official feeder event of a major new innovation summit – championed by Glasgow City of Science and partners – Venturefest Scotland 2015 which will take place on 9th September 2015 at Glasgow Science Centre.

Taking place over the weekend 8th and 9th August 2015 at ‘Rookie Oven’ in the Fairfield Shipyard Offices, VentureJam provides an incredible outlet for young people to work with some of the city’s most talented gurus to develop an app, interactive art installation or anything else that will challenge attitudes to climate change and sustainability. They’ll also get the opportunity to pitch their idea to potential investors – Dragon’s Den style – at a major new innovation summit, Venturefest Scotland on 9th September 2015 at Glasgow Science Centre.
