The £21.3million Avenues Plus programme, part of the biggest transformation of Glasgow city centre for 50 years, is now fully underway in Glasgow city centre, with projects taking place on the eastern, northern and southern fringes of the city centre.

A major £1.23 million sustainable drainage project in Early Braes Park, backed by the Glasgow City Region City Deal, is now complete—reducing flood risk, restoring natural water flows, and enhancing the park’s biodiversity.

Glasgow City Council has accepted the award of £998,169 in Regeneration Capital Grant Fund (RCGF) support from the Scottish Government for two community regeneration projects in the city.

The Glasgow City Region Cabinet has green lit a new £64.5 million City Deal project which will provide funding for all eight of the Region’s councils to refurbish existing or to create new commercial or industrial premises.
