Glasgow is developing a green economy, and hosts the Future Cities Demonstrator, aimed at using technology to make the city smarter, safer and more sustainable. It’s an international centre of excellence in offshore renewables, and hosts the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, based in the International Technology and Renewable Energy Zone.
