The Advanced Higher Hub at Glasgow Caledonian University which provides school pupils with the chance to study in a university environment, and aims to widen access to further education, has been celebrating the success of its first batch of graduates.
Plans have been unveiled to open a new £1.5 million college on the southside of Glasgow that will take disengaged 14 to 16 year olds and give them the opportunity to follow an alternate academic path towards a successful trade.
