The awards are run by the Herald and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce in partnership with People Make Glasgow. 

Glasgow has a long and distinguished history of innovators, pioneers and traders who have made their mark on the world stage. The Inspiring City Awards recognise the new generation of citizens who are making a tremendous contribution to the cultural and economic climate of Glasgow.

The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 6 at the Marriott Hotel, Glasgow.
