The Creative EDGE Award is a prize of up to £100,000 – 60 per cent loan and 40 per cent grant – which will be presented to the top creative business idea to enter in round 13 of the Scottish EDGE competition.

The introduction of Creative EDGE in Round 11 resulted in a 145 per cent increase in Creative Industry applications and it was the second highest sector represented at the application stage in Rounds 11, 12 and 13.

Stems, which is on a mission to globalise its construction toy that inspires curiosity and opens up opportunities for active discovery, took home £50,000 as the latest Creative EDGE winner in Round 13.

Scottish EDGE launched Round 14 yesterday (January 28), with the application window closing at 2pm on March 4 and the final planned for May 28 and May 30, with winners announced at the awards ceremony in the evening of June 14.

Up to £1 million+ in grant and loan funding will be awarded to innovative Scottish start-ups. Scottish EDGE itself is supported by the Royal Bank of Scotland, The Hunter Foundation and the Scottish Government.

Numerous workshops have been organised for those working in all sectors interested in learning more about the Scottish EDGE competition and the application process.

If you are an innovative entrepreneur working in any of the categories listed below, this workshop could be your first step to securing up to £100,000 for your business.
