Clyde Gateway has appointed Ryden to lead the occupational agency and marketing of its landmark £500 million Innovation masterplan, accelerating delivery and engagement with occupiers across the regeneration area.
The Innovation masterplan is central to Clyde Gateway’s long-term vision to transform the East End of Glasgow and South Lanarkshire into a nationally significant hub for advanced industries. Spanning life sciences, green energy, digital technology, advanced manufacturing and engineering, the development aims to attract innovation-led businesses, stimulate inward investment and support the creation of thousands of high-value jobs.
Covering Shawfield and Dalmarnock, the masterplan will deliver flexible workspaces, laboratories, research facilities, business accommodation and high-quality public realm, alongside access to low carbon heat networks. The development is designed to meet the needs of modern occupiers seeking sustainable, accessible locations aligned with next-generation industry growth.
Ryden will lead the occupational strategy and marketing, supporting Clyde Gateway to bring forward space aligned with occupier demand while working alongside the wider advisor team as the masterplan progresses. The appointment builds on Ryden’s existing role across Clyde Gateway’s property portfolio, including Red Tree Business Suites and Innovation Shawfield, and its joint agency role with Avison Young on the upcoming XWorks advanced manufacturing development.
Angela Rowley, Head of Property and Development at Clyde Gateway, said the appointment reflects both the scale of ambition and growing momentum behind the masterplan, highlighting Ryden’s strong market insight and occupier relationships.
The appointment comes as Clyde Gateway prepares to showcase the Innovation masterplan to investors, developers and occupiers at upcoming industry events including UKREiiF, while continuing discussions with joint venture partners and funders to accelerate delivery.
