To be employed as an Aircraft Maintenance Licensed Engineer requires four years of academic study, on-the-job training and successful completion of a series of exams to gain the appropriate qualifications.

The College is the first centre in Scotland where people in the aviation industry can sit their Aircraft Maintenance Licence exam, with the first cohort having passed through in January 2015.
